We’re a company that’s continuously working hard to achieve our main goal of Making Software Fun Again.
Taking pride in Independence.
Erik Yuzwa // CEO and Lead Developer
Founder, CEO and über-geek of Wazoo Enterprises, Erik has been working on game development and design since his childhood days of playing on his AppleIIe. Aside from creating and building games he’s very comfortable with rolling up his sleeves and pouring over PHP and MySQL code. He is also an active collaborator in the game developer community and frequent writer whose work has appeared in numerous digital publications, including GameDev.Net, and the monthly ASPects newsletter published by the Association of Shareware Professionals.
Let’s get back to basics folks.
Corby Johanneson // Lead Tools, Texture, Sound and Music Artist
Corby comes from a background of PC hardware design, tech support, and networking. All the boring s***. It’s been educational but it isn’t where his passion lies. Mainly he build tools and utilities in a number of programming/scripting languages in order to boost his own productivity through which he derives a lot of satisfaction. Necessity truly is the mother of invention and it frequently brings to Corby’s door interesting and challenging problems that require side-ways thinking which canned development processes usually don’t handle very well.
Let’s make some fun.
Ben Wong // Texture Artist
Ben plays a fundamental role at Wazoo Enterprises: he makes sure that the various images and textures on our projects are up to scratch for our clients. He has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, but could be easily working for Pixar. Ben is fascinated with many aspects of technology, communication in IT and open source projects. Ben lives nearby and works closely with our office here in Calgary, overseeing our artwork and making suggestions on all aspects of our products and services. We’re very proud to have Ben working with us when he’s not slaving away at his own projects on blargmedia.
