Snackr - the browserless RSS feed viewer you need

RSS is a tremendous way to try and keep abreast of the content posted on your favorite news or other syndicated sites as you well know.

You’ve got sites like bloglines, etc which work as personal feed aggregators for you, but it’s still a website / page that you need to keep open in a browser window. My personal browser preference is still Firefox, but at times it does tend to soak up the memory on your machine like a sponge.

Snackr is a browser-less desktop RSS reader / viewer built upon Adobe AIR using Flex3. It scrolls along the bottom of your desktop, but can be positioned anywhere you want it (even vertically down one side).
