Tracking site user paths with WassUp
With the advent of the recent 2.5.x build of WordPress, the design of the software is continually opening up new doors in terms of content plugins and tools to help out with SEO tracking.
WassUp is just such a tool.
Although I can browse through the server generated http logs on my site, I somehow don’t get as excited as when I can view stat pie charts and graphs via WordPress. *wink*
WassUp does far more than simply logging how many visitors hit your site, or what country is hammering your content. It’s able to help provide you with a picture of what the clients are doing once they land on your site. What’s their “user path” through your site’s content during each session?
It provides you with an AJAX-friendly page that is updated in realtime as each client session is kicked off on your content, and tries to update itself as to where your clients are going and viewing.
