The Last Lecture

Randy Pausch, father of 3 and a Professor at Carnegie Mellon was diagnosed with a terminal pancreatic cancer, and gave his “last lecture” before leaving his duties at the school to spend his time enjoying life and family on Sept. 18th, 2007.

The lecture is an excellent presentation on following your childhood dreams and how important they are to not only your overall success but also your fulfillment in life. I think all too often we get wrapped up in our small pocket of reality, and we allow ourselves to periodically get stuck in rut / routine (however you want to phrase it), where we lose sight of what we were initially aiming for to begin with.

Without trying to sound preachy and grandiose, it’s important to pay attention to your dreams and learn from the experience of trying to achieve / reach them.

And never stop trying to achieve them!
